The advantage of DeepLens is that it works with complex objects and not just square shaped windows, so you can do more interesting things like make the frame a sphere or a dancer model. I recommend ベース００.fx but try out others if you feel. Repeat the process of the first method, but change the effect of the Shinshiwaku.x in main tab to one of the effects in the DeepLens folder. Under "shinshiwakuRT" tab manually uncheck things invisible when they ARE behind the frame. Go into MME mapping window and under "main" tab, manually uncheck the boxes of things invisible when NOT behind frame. Link it to the frame model from earlier so we can see the frame of the window. This will automatically use the effect because of its name. In MMD load accessory and choose Shinshiwaku.x.

You have to do this with Windows running, though, otherwise everything gets wiped if you use it from a cold start. After a lot of provocation using Task Manager I got it to the point where I could repair the OS from a downloaded version. What happened was that the update failed to recognise the existing desktop layout files at all, and for a while this resulted in nothing visible on the screen, except some error messages which didn't provide much of a clue, quite frankly. The version I've got on this laptop now is 4 but that's later than the one that screwed up. Microsoft never tell you anything useful about their updates anyway. Knowing the build number doesn't help - and I can't tell you what the actual failed build number was because it's now not the current version. Could you tell us please what update this was that caused all this wailing and gnashing of teeth so that we can try and avoid it?
